To keep one price everywhere, including when Featured comes to the iPhone app through the App Store, featuring a listing priced in pesos now costs ₱299 for 3 days, ₱599 for 7 days, or ₱1,990 for 30 days. US prices stay $4.99, $9.99, and $29.99. Featured days you've already bought aren't affected.
No more last-second sniping: a bid in the last 2 minutes of an auction now adds 2 minutes, so everyone gets a fair chance to answer and sellers get a fair price.
Geerho on your Home Screen: on a phone, geerho.com now offers to sit on your Home Screen and open like an app. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Before you verify: you can already browse, save listings, watch prices, and set search alerts. Verifying is free and takes about 2 minutes, and you need it to message, buy, and sell.
New Business plan: $99.99 a month (₱5,999 in the Philippines). 20 new posts a day, no commission, and a team of up to 10 people who post and answer chats for you. Made for small shops, agencies, and dealers. See Plans.
Big purchases: Geerho takes in-app payments up to $2,500 (₱150,000). For anything above that, like a car or a motorcycle, checkout says Request to Buy and you pay the seller directly once they accept. Geerho doesn't hold that money, so its buyer protection doesn't cover it: meet in person, check the item and its papers, and use a bank transfer or escrow you trust. Listing above $2,500 needs a plan.
Search alerts: search for something that isn't there yet and tap Alert Me. We'll tell you when one is posted near you. Manage them in Settings.
We've added a few careful AI helpers to keep Geerho safe and friendly. People still make every decision about your account and your listings.
Safety tips in chats: if a message looks like a common scam (paying outside Geerho, gift cards, crypto, a deposit before you've seen the item, a suspicious link, or a request for a code), Geerho adds a short safety tip to that chat, at most once a day. It never accuses anyone, and ordinary messages are never checked.
Quicker Support answers: everyday questions to Support (general, buying, selling, renting, shipping, something not working, feedback) often get a first answer within a minute or two from the Geerho Assistant. It's an AI, says so, and answers from our Help and FAQ. If it doesn't solve your problem, just reply and a person takes over. Questions about your account, verification, payments, safety, reports, privacy or legal matters always go to a person.
Faster reviews: our moderators now get an AI note when a new listing may break our rules, and a short summary of each report, so they can look at urgent things first. Nothing is removed automatically.
The AI is Claude, from Anthropic, which doesn't use this content to train its models. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is checked.
We've put our rules for returns and refunds in one easy page: how payments through Geerho are held until you have what you paid for, what to do when something goes wrong, and how plan refunds work. Read the Return & Refund Policy; it's also in the apps under Settings.
When you set up payouts in Profile → Get Paid, you now choose Personal (your Social Security number) or Business (your company's EIN). Stripe, our payment processor, keeps the number; Geerho never sees it. Payouts wait until it's on file.
Geerho reports sales to the IRS on Form 1099-K only when they reach the federal threshold, and you report your own income. See Help for details.
Swipe left to delete a notification, a message or a whole chat, or select several at once, or Delete All. On your own messages, Delete for Everyone removes it for both of you. To protect members from scams, Geerho keeps a private copy of deleted messages for one year that only moderators can see when they review a report.
Share your invitation from Profile → Invite Friends. When your friend joins, names you as the person who invited them, and verifies their ID, you each get one sale with no Geerho commission (card or bank processing fees still apply). Geerho never messages anyone for you.
Translate a listing's description or a message, right on your phone.
Remove Background puts your item on clean white when you post photos.
Write my listing: on phones and browsers with built-in AI, type a few notes and let your device write the description for free. Check it before you post.
Sell from Photos: share pictures from your Photos or Gallery app to Geerho to start a listing.
Widgets and auction countdowns on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.
Siri and shortcuts: "Search Geerho", "Post on Geerho", or touch and hold the app icon on Android.
Passkeys: sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint (Profile → Settings → Security).
Elite teams: team members can now handle sales, shipping, rentals and tours for the listings they post.
Geerho is now operated by Geerho Tech LLC, a California company. Nothing changes for your account. Our Terms and Privacy Policy show the new company details, and you can now call or text us at +1 (619) 796-1115 (also in Contact Support).
To list a home for sale or for rent on Geerho, you now need a Basic plan (or Pro or Elite). Geerho never takes a cut of a home sale or rent, so the plan is how listing homes is paid for.
Don't have a plan yet? When you post a home, we'll ask first and save it as a draft, so nothing is lost: choose a plan, then publish it from Profile → My Listings. Free members can keep posting items as before, and your plan continues until you cancel it. On Basic, you can make 3 new posts a day, like every Basic member. See Plans.
Every Friday, everyone on Geerho can post as much as they like, with or without a plan, and those posts don't count toward your daily or monthly limits. It's Friday in your own time: Philippine time if you live in the Philippines, US Pacific time otherwise. Profile → Plan shows when it's on.
Also new: real estate agents, brokers, and property managers need a Basic, Pro, or Elite plan to add their real estate license and list homes. See Plans.
Geerho's moderators can now answer Geerho Support and review reports, licenses, address changes, TikTok level transfers, payments on hold, and account recovery requests on geerho.com as well as in the apps, so your requests get looked at sooner.
Nothing changes about who sees what: only Geerho moderators can open these tools, they see the same information as in the apps, and every decision is logged.
You can now add extra protection to your Geerho account, on the iPhone and Android apps and on geerho.com:
Two-step verification: go to Profile → Settings → Security → Turn On and scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, and others). Signing in then asks for the 6-digit code from the app.
Recovery codes: you get 10 one-time codes to keep somewhere safe, in case you lose your phone.
App Lock: in the apps, have Geerho ask for Face ID, Touch ID, or your fingerprint each time you open it. Your face or fingerprint never leaves your phone.

Buy and bid on the website, with a bigger bid box, quick bids, and a red timer in an auction's last 2 minutes.
Search for people as well as listings, and see member profiles.
Post from the website: Post → choose what you're listing, add photos, and publish, with the same form as the app. Use My Location or type a city or ZIP code to set the area. Edit your listings from Profile → My Listings.
Square, clean photos: when you add a photo, drag it to center your item, then Use Photo. Listing photos now fill their square everywhere.
Everything else, too: rent a tool, request a home tour or a quote, respond to a job, post for your Elite team, add a professional license, and change your home address, all on the website.

Photos and videos in messages. Tap the photo button in any conversation. They're private to the conversation, and we remove their location.
Reactions. Touch and hold a message to react with ❤️ 👍 👎 😂 😮 😢 or 😡, or double-tap it for ❤️.
Elite teams. Elite members can appoint up to 100 people to post and chat for their business. Buyers pay the business, and the Elite member sees everything. See plans.
Pay in the app for tool rentals and hired jobs, and in the Philippines, pay with GCash, Maya, cards, or QR Ph through PayMongo.
Fixed: new messages now appear right away in an open conversation, without leaving and coming back.
Anyone with an iPhone can now try Geerho before it reaches the App Store. Join the beta on TestFlight (Apple's free beta app), then install Geerho. It's free.

Instant notifications. Messages arrive within seconds, even when Geerho is closed, with Geerho's own tones, or upload your own.
Follow and Contacts. Follow anyone; when you follow each other, you're Contacts.
Exact pins. Search your address or use your location to pin the exact meeting spot. Only your buyer, renter, or hired pro sees it.
Units and currency. Choose miles or kilometers, °F or °C, and see prices in dollars or pesos too.
A brighter Home screen with shortcuts to items, auctions, tools, homes, pros, and jobs.

You can now buy and sell items, run auctions, and rent out tools in the Philippines, not just homes and services. Prices are in pesos, and sellers can ship with LBC Express, J&T Express, Ninja Van, Flash Express, Lalamove for same-day delivery, PHLPost, or DHL. Buyers get the tracking number and a link to the courier's tracking page automatically.
We also have a new look: the red, white, and blue Geerho G, on the same blue as the app.
Every Geerho member is a verified real person, and now each person has exactly one account:
Sign in your way. Link Apple, Google, and GitHub to the same account in Settings → Sign-in Methods (or on your Account page here). Sign in with Apple now works on geerho.com too.
No duplicate accounts. If someone tries to verify a second account with an ID that's already verified, we don't verify it. We tell them which account is theirs, and we let the original account know, in case someone else is using their ID.
Your home address, kept private. If your ID shows your address, it's saved to your account when you verify, so checkout fills it in for you. It's never on your profile. Moved? Send your new address with 2 or 3 recent documents, like a utility bill and a bank statement. A Geerho moderator checks them, and then they're deleted.
We keep as little as we can: never your ID images, just your legal name, date of birth, and a scrambled code made from your ID number that can't be turned back into it. Read the details in our Privacy Policy.
The next Geerho beta update adds three things our community asked for, starting in California and the Philippines:
Homes for rent and for sale. Browse homes with photos, rent or price, bedrooms, and more, then message the lister or request a tour. Rentals show only the neighborhood until a tour is confirmed, which helps stop rental scams.
Hire local pros. Freelancers can offer their services, from house cleaning and photography to electrical work, and you can request a quote.
Post a job. Need a plumber on Saturday? Post the job and verified freelancers respond with a message and a price.
Real estate agents and people in licensed trades add their license in the app. A Geerho moderator checks it against the issuer’s public records, such as the California DRE or the Philippine PRC, before their profile shows a Licensed badge.
Not everyone has an iPhone, so Geerho now works on your computer too. On geerho.com you can sign in with the same account as the app, verify your identity, message sellers, and contact Geerho Support with photos, PDFs, and the transaction you need help with.
Your privacy choices come with you: you can report or block anyone from a conversation, and you can delete your account from your Account page at any time. Buying, bidding, renting, and selling on the website are next.
We're getting ready to open a public beta of the Geerho iPhone app on Apple's TestFlight. Beta testers can buy and sell items, run and bid in auctions, and rent tools and equipment from verified neighbors.
Like everyone on Geerho, beta testers verify their identity with a government ID and a quick selfie before transacting. The first 300 members to verify become Founding Members.
The download link will appear on our Get the app page as soon as the beta opens.
You can now browse every active listing on geerho.com, including items for sale, auctions, and tool rentals. When you find something you like, buy, bid, or rent in the app.
